The biggest hali we landed off of my boat this year weighed 340lbs. We landed a 420lb hali two years ago being our biggest catch of the six years l have been fishing these waters(Northwest BC). Using different combinations of baits, octopus, salmon bellies, mackeral, and small kelp cod is seem to be the best.
