both are very good for trout. l have caught several hundred trout on both. not all at the same time. but yes both are good

coachman (attractor) for rainbows, woolly bugger (imitator) or browns.. rainbows are agressive, browns not so much.

Both are great flies !!
In the fall, as the water cools trout become oppportunistic feeders as they fatten for the spawn (browns and brooks). l just came back from Vermont and caught an abundance of both species on attractor patterns such as Coachmans, Adams, Wullf patterns and the wooly booger may just be the one fly l could not live without - the colors you have are fine, l would add a black wooly booger and a elk hair caddis to your arsenal.

Both are good flies, however you do know that the coachman is a dry fly and should be fished on a floating line, whilst the woolly bugger can be fished on an intermediate or a floater, a gold bead woolly bugger is a good fly too, in olive or black, l also suggest some tried and tested nymphs, like the montana and the hares aer fished on a floating line.
