l know of a cracking fishing venue, in austria which holds a very good head of fish mainly carp to 55lb carpfishingparadise.co.uk it really does have everything for a perfect fishing holiday abroad, wondered how many people have tried looking for a venue like this ?
and or are looking for something like this as an altenative to france and spain

l am not a brit but l have had a chance to fish in western europe. l do know it is rather expensive for foreigners to fish in germany. Austria, l would imagine has some of the same laws & regulations. l found france to be very tourist friendly when it comes to fishing. non local licenses r rather cheap & equipment / stores r readily available. You can fish waters shared with germany (from the french side) without purchasing further license such as the Sauer river. l do know that l had the best fishing experience in France & though l looked at rivers in Austria, l spent most of my time rafting them than fishing. They do look very good & some areas had me wishing l brought tackle. l looked at the Austrian part of the web site & it seems that it may not be that much. it looks like it varies between 15 -20 Euros per day for 1 -2 poles. So it may not be that bad, l would still check on national license requirements.
