We were going through my Grandma is garage, and l found my Grandpa is 3 pound Deep Sea Fishing weight. Now that Grandpa is gone, no one in my family does any fishing. We wanna get rid of it, and I'd like to know how much 3 pound Deep Sea Fishing weights usually cost. If you'd PLEASE let me know, and PLEASE, no one answer with the dreaded ''l do not know... Google it.'' Because l have googled it, and l could not find my answer. Maybe you would have better luck finding the price!

Hey bud, that sounds like a nice find, but, unfortunately, l would not think it to be worth that much, unless u can find a collector who is looking for this particular artifact, maybe to complete a collection or something. If u can not find this type of collector who is willing to pay u for it, l would suggest having it commemorized into maybe a table or a decorative piece of some sort, just to memorialize ur Grandpa with something that had everything to do with the way he relaxed & enjoyed himself, fishing. It is probably a really cool piece, & u never know who may be willing to pay for it, try E-bay, maybe, but l would keep it.

Sounds like you have a lead ball for down riggers. They usually go for about 15-bucks in the 3 pound range if it is in good condition. Try selling it on Ebay or keep it as a keepsake of your grandfather. l choose the latter, mount it up nice and honor your grandfathers love of the sport.That is just me, l love fishing too much to let every memory go to the highest bidder.~good luck catchin'.

$17.99 for a new one from Bass Pro Shops. As a sinker works just fine if it is old and dinged up, it should still be worth about that much.

You'd have better results in taking the weights to a tackle shop and see what they'd offer ya. l would not expect much over five bucks apiece for them because unless someone needs down-rigger weights, about the only other thing to do with them is melt them down into smaller weights.

the best thing to do is take it to a scrap yard or just give it away.when you give it away you will get something back three times fold.
