l need a fishing licence, l have no idea what fish are in the river but l think its salmon... in the river tyne by Hexham is where l am going to, l really need help soon, where can l geta CHEAP licence???

Licenses in the WHOLE of the UK are the same price, its not possible to get one cheap, depending on the type of water it could be either salmon or trout, and there is a good possibility its both, for salmon you need a migratory license, for trout you need a non migratory license, make sure you get one or you face a big fine, also make sure you have permission to fish that beat of the river.

go to walmart you could probly get one for around $9.00 unless your not a resident tthen it is in the hundreds

what u want is an Environment Agency rod licence, ask yourself the question r u going fishing for salmon or r u fishing for general coarse fish.First off l would suggest u go to a local fishing tackle shop & find out a bit more about the river,as l think it is tidal & maybe just gonna be Flounders,bass ,Eels in which case its free. If it is general coarse fish l believe it is £24.50 if u want to fish for salmon it is about £60 so it will pay to do a bit of home work.

The license you you are looking for have a set price. Each state has their own set price and rules. check your local hardware store, Walmart, Kmart, or bait shop to get them, they will have a book that will tell you the rules of your state, and tell you what the price is. My state the license are $18.00 this year! The local bait shop should also be able to tell you what is in that river, and what people are catching. Also what type of bait they are using to catch them on.
