it would be alright for small shark such as leoprds and small halibut up maybe 60 lbs. but as for big shark , stingrays , and halibut l would not recomend it. l use a 320 gt and it works great for small shark and sturgeon.

Reel is okay. Rod is not the best but okay too. Price is not the best but it is within reasonable range.
l prefer conventional reels over level winds when using heavier mono lines. Conventional reels will give u better casting distance. Somehow, l got a feeling that u r fishing in the surf or in bays/harbors. If you're surf fishing, a jig stick will work better because they r longer & they could cast further. Reels like Penn 525 Mag & Daiwa SL/SLX 20 will work nicely with jig sticks. Their spools wo not hold too much mono lines so u should consider braid lines.
If you're fishing in the bay/harbor or on a pier or on a boat, the combo u picked will work. If u do not mind conventional reels, u may want to consider Penn 535 & Daiwa SL/SLX 30. A 7 feet 20-40lb or 15-30lb rod will work.
All setups mentioned above will allow u to catch a good variety of fish from mackerels to small/medium tunas. If u prefer something bigger, u may also consider a Peen 500 combo.

Sharks prefer live baits but they will also bite lures. I've caught them by accident while halibut fishing in the surf. Lures like crank baits (Rapala/Lucky Craft), plastic swim baits (4'' & 5'' Fish Trap) & spoons (Kastmaster/Krocodile) will all work. I've yet to catch a ray on lure.
All 3 species will take live baits. I've use smelt, grunion, sardine, anchovy & small mackerel with good results. l like to use small live bait fish between 4'' to 6'' for those species. You can use bigger bait if u r after larger shark & ray. You will have better success with live baits while fishing for sharks & halibut. Rays do not seem to mind dead baits as much. l usually use live bait hooks between size 2 to 4/0. You will need to match the hook to the size of bait fish. You will know when a shark or ray hit ur bait. When a halibut hit, the bite will not be as noticeable. Halibut bite could be a light tap on the line. It could feel like a missed fish. Sometimes, u wo not feel anything at all. Or, u will only feel ur bait fish stopped moving. You need to let the halibut chew on ur live bait between 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes depending on the size of the bait fish & the size of halibuts around the area. Only experience could tell u when to set the hook. If u reeled in shredded bait fish, it means u set the hook too soon. You can wait for the line to move if u do not know when to set the hook. But there is a chance that the halibut will swallow the hook. If a halibut swallowed hook, their sharp teeth could cut ur line. There is also a chance the halibut will just camp at the spot & u wo not even know that it is there until u decided to change ur bait.
If you're using cut baits, fish like mackerel, sardine, bonito & squid will all work. Squid strips work better on halibut. Unfortunately, halibuts I've caught using cut baits around SoCal r under sized. Fish steaks or whole squids will work better on larger sharks & rays. Hook size between size 2 to size 8/0 will all work. You will have to decide how big a bait u want to use & u will have to match the hook to the bait size. There r other baits that will work but l left them out because they wo not work on halibuts or larger sharks & rays.
