me and my friend went fishing today, and only caught 3 fish!i caught a pickerel and perch and he caught a perch. and we froze our balls off for nothing!. usually we catch like 50 fish everytime we go to this lake,its actually like a sewer dump sorta. but there are sooooo many fish in there,,,, these are the fish- lake trout, lake trout, brown trout, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, pickerel, crappie, catfish,sunnies,perch, and bluegill. we usually catch so many fish in there.. we used shiners. this lake turns into a stream. it is about 2 feet deep. where do you think all of the fish went?

they're all full of sh*t & not hungry, my boyfriend wants to know if you ever find any corn in em? lol lol lol

Depending on where u r at ur lake could be experiences turn-over. Which is basically the warm water & cold water switching place. Usually the warm layer is the bottom & the fish head for the warmest water. It is happening right now at my local fishing hole in North Texas right. l am not seeing anything shallow. Switch ur tactics & fish deep. The bite is gonna be slower with winter approaching. But u can still catch them. Fish slower or use live bait. Tight lines & good luck.

You gotta understand its cold out there! The fish have gone to the bottom, so the secret out there now is a shiner on bottom, or bumping jigs and plugs on bottom. l caught 4 bass today slowly bumping a rubber worm on bottom in 30 minutes. Just remember, winter fishing is A LOT slower.

Well, they r at the bottom for starters. Shiners r a good bait still. Find the deepest spot, or a drop off, & fish there. Another good place would be an eddy, where the water is flowing, but slow because ( l think) there is more natural food available to them. So, in an effort to conserve energy, they go to where, they can catch food easily. l normally fish bottom in the winter. l have also noticed that the fish r slower in taking bait, so keep ur line tight, & be a little quicker in jerking the rod. You wo not have as many chances.

Maybe you need to go to Florida. We went fishing today and in about 2 hours we caught at least 15 fish. Black sea bass, red grouper, gag grouper, a blue fish and several bait fish. It was a great day. Used Gulp for bait. It is the best!
